TonyJ 17 Posted March 12, 2010 I'm converting a 12 gauge model 500 into a HD gun. I Purchased a 18.5'' barrel and a Knoxx SpecOps Adjustable Length of Pull Stock set from Midway. I know the buttstock is easy to replace, but will i need any special tools to remove the forend? Thanks in advance. Tony
LibertyOrDeath 3 Posted March 12, 2010 There is a foregrip tool but you can just as easily use pair of needlnose pliers to do it. Just unscrew the caslenut and remove.

bmanrkg3 3 Posted March 15, 2010 Where did you get that pump handle from? and who makes it?
mikeyboyeee 66 Posted March 15, 2010 I actually bought it form Urban Grunt when he posted it in the market place. I do not recall who makes it, but it was the tactical forened and it came with the forend grip.

The only thing you cannot modify on a pump shotgun as a civilian is a barrel to be less than 18 inches, or overall length less than 26" (Federal Laws). DUNsho 0 Posted April 20, 2010 thanks for the replies. Now my buddy can bring his shotty to shoot clay instead of using mine. lol
Scrap 4 Posted April 22, 2010 I have started the hunt for my next project.. It will be a hopefully brand new, Mossberg 500... Many I like but will probably get the JIC 500 Camo cruiser-style PGO, and an adjustable spec ops rifle/PG stock... and MAYBE if possible the two muzzlebreaks and heatshield for tacticoolization pimpness...Sonic BOOM ! Would love one from the 590A1 line but I want a less expensive 3rd option for my Triangle Shotgun Offense, not another 600-700+ dollar mossberg pump!
