Can lead be absorbed through the skin?

Recommended Posts

According to http://www.ecy.wa.gov/programs/hwtr/dem ... oison.html lead is not absorbed through the skin for the most part.

Inhalation and ingestion are the two main ways a person can get lead poisoning, so I just make sure to wash my hands thoroughly before I eat or touch my face after shooting.

Damn.. I guess I should stop my practice of eating baby back ribs while I'm shooting.

No, you can use handi wipes so you do not get BBQ sauce on your gun.
