If you plan on never doing any trigger work or changing sights.... then go for it.

Otherwise..... just get the 9L and either do APEX internals or send for trigger job and pick the sights you want.....

I am going to get a 9L ......

General consesus is APEX internals > Pro internals

Somebody call the CDC.

Smithillis is becoming pandemic throughout the NJ shooting community.

We need to identify patient zero. I believe it's Troy.

Only 2 issues that I know of.....been on the M&P forum for awhile....

1. Rust issues on the slide on the early ones - Poor adhesion of the Melonite finish ( yes, mine is one of them). S&W has corrected the issue, the 9L or Pro were never involved.

2. Striker breaking on guns that people tend to Dry Fire a lot. Todd G did a torture test - 50,000+ rounds M&P Torture Test

S&W is now on a 3rd Gen striker..... issue is now gone. Plus I dont doubt APEX will come out with one....

I have 5000+ rds thru mine.... ZERO issues

Just heard some really good things about the m&P pro series. I lso held one on Tuesday. I liked it a lot. Grip fealt way better than a glock.

Textbook example of damning with faint praise.
