tuktuk 16 Posted September 20, 2011 Just wondering if anybody has or tried Sig Sauer 's short trigger upgrade / replacement ( NOT SRT ) . Thoughts, Opinions, recommendations ?
bry@n 195 Posted September 20, 2011 I have and I have short fingers. It seems to jam my finger up at the end of the trigger pull. I have stuck with the regular trigger and change all of my short trggers out to regular triggers.
Wildbob 14 Posted September 20, 2011 Me, too. Same issue as bry@n. Got really uncomfortable. I had to put the gun down for a few minutes. I changed it back to full size. Much better.
tuktuk 16 Posted September 20, 2011 very interesting. Thank you for the great feedback. I was thinking about getting it primarily for my P250. However after what u gens said I will most prob not buy it.
autoxnyc 4 Posted September 20, 2011 I don't like the short trigger for the same reason. The trigger reach is fine in single action mode but slightly long for double action. I think the E2 grip is a better solution for you.
tanghan 1 Posted September 22, 2011 Same here. I got a P226 Enhanced Elite which has E2 grip and both short trigger and SRT I believe. E2 is enough, SRT is nice. But ST is not necessary if not bad at all. I have and I have short fingers. It seems to jam my finger up at the end of the trigger pull. I have stuck with the regular trigger and change all of my short trggers out to regular triggers.
n4p226r 105 Posted September 26, 2011 I have short fingers and feel like I grab the side ofthe trigger not the front. I wonder if that is why I always shoot down left. I may buy a used short trigger just to try. Easy swap and not like I'll be out too much if I flip it. Unless I can find a dealer that has one in nj without the e2 grip
Wildbob 14 Posted September 27, 2011 That short trigger shaves 1/8" off the regular trigger. It was enough to dig a small crease into my finger so after about 30 rounds my finger would slip in that crease and put me off target. I still have the short one. If you want to try it on yours, PM me your address and I will mail it to you.
