gunguy1960 2 Posted October 25, 2011 Help! nj gun shop is trying to tell me henry mares leg is illegal in nj, doesnt anyone know nj gun laws??? good grief! its a lever action, ten shot 22, registered as a pistol from the factory, please explain where in the nj gun laws it says you cant have a lever action, ten round pistol, and please dont forget to use the nj gun laws in your response, and if you want the shops name just ask, but I really thought they knew guns-BIG MISTAKE!!! Asking for the gun shops name - and your county so we can refer you to a better gunshop. You can look at the laws yourself on NJSP - http://nj.gov/njsp/about/fire_ag2.html They are all there...
