Shoot my Winchester 94 for first time.

Recommended Posts

Picked it up in a private sale as it caught my eye, after running the serial, turns out its of 1958 vintage.

I have been looking at it for near 2 weeks and finally Shot it at the range for first time tonight, Iron sights, 23 yds, nice thump to it and pretty accurate.

I liked it, just need to figure out how to clean it now

Pre-64 M94's are beautifully made. You found yourself a nice classic rifle. This is a pretty good link for breaking a M94 down for a full cleaning if you ever want to attempt a complete disassembly. (The properly sized screwdriver bits are key.)

As for cleaning, you'll have to deploy a flexible system to clean from the breech end or else clean from the muzzle.
