Petition to bring home a current POW

Recommended Posts

I can't even believe that this needs a petition to spark motivation from the government.

Sgt Bowe Bergdahl, US Army, was captured by enemy forces in Afghanistan on 30 June 2009. He is currently being held as a prisoner of war. On 30 June 2009, militants belonging to the Haqqani network, an Afghan insurgent group which is allied with the Taliban, took twenty-three year-old United States Army Sergeant Bowe R. Bergdahl captive.

I don't know if signing a petition will bring him home but at the very least it is worth a shot.

Thank you

The circumstances under which Sgt. Bergdhal was captured are rather unusual.

He seems to have simply walked off his FOB and headed off into the nearby hills - carrying only a canteen and his camera. No weapon.

This must really suck for his family though.

Grave digging here, but Bergdahl is being charged with desertion. Heard it on O'reilly this evening.

Found this link. http://www.thetreeofliberty.com/vb/showthread.php?209751-Bowe-Bergdahl-To-Be-Charged-With-Desertion

Not trying to start a political discussion, just an update to an old subject.
