Well, my son joined up a bit back, and decided to share some of what he saw in this place with me, so I figured I'd peek in now and then myself. I looked around a little, and it seems like a reasonable site, with the "gun nuts" either well hidden or under control, so I'm ready to stop lurking. I won't be posting a whole lot, but I'll be trying to check in now and then to keep up with what's happening.

Guns only played a minor part in my childhood, enough to make me respect and enjoy them, but not make me a strong enthusiast, if you will. As I see it becoming more of an issue in this state, it gives me more pause for thought, and I'd like to assure myself of their availability to me, and this seems a good place to get info from on the topic.
