Oak, PA Gun Show - What to expect

Recommended Posts

Has anyone ever been to this show? I've actually never been to a true gun show (went to an antique guns how in NJ).

Will I be able to buy any firearms from private sellers?

Licensed sellers, I know any purchase will have to be shipped to my ffl.

How about ammo?

Has anyone ever been to this show?

No but I'll be there working the NJ2AS booth on Sunday.

Yes, as long as you have it transferred to a NJ FFL. No face-to face transactions.

How about ammo?.

Buy as much ammo as you want. No restrictions.

There are private sales everywhere in PA.

But an NJ resident needs a longun to go through an FFL in either PA or NJ and handgun at NJ FFL. There are generally no private sales between unlicensed/SOT residents across state lines under federal law.

well at all the the gun shows the past weekends since december and it all has been crazy prices, 800-900 per 1000 of 223/556. even other calibers are high

gun shows are not the places for deals anymore on ammo.. because everyone and their mother is looking for the same thing and people are willing to pay

IF there is any ammo for sale, expect outrageous prices.

The panic is not yet over, and supplies are still hard to come by. I would honestly save the gas money and put it into your gun piggy bank.

i was there in Dec. you're going to hear this a lot, "Are you a Jersey Resident?" from any vendor you talk to. Because i'm a Jersey resident they all told me no AR's, no pistols, no rifle with a pistol grip. At the time, the ammo was a little pricey. can't imagine what it is now. That was my experience. There is a lot to see. cool show to go to.
