having a gun case while checking into a hotel, does it raise a flag?

ok so im going to florida, flying out of AC thursday morning, i am bringing my ar-10..i know the rules about flying with a gun, i have approved gun case and i will have master locks on it that only i can get into it... however, wednesday night i will be staying at Ceaser's in AC before i fly out and i will be bringing my rifle in its locked case as part of my luggage... is there any rules about bringing guns into a hotel? does it raise a flag if they see a gun case? will i be allowed to have it in my room? help me!!! im leaving in 2 days lol

As far as I know, there is a policy that you cannot bring a firearm into the hotel or casino. Even if under other circumstances you COULD bring it into a regular hotel...when I stay at borgata they have a posting that you may not enter with a gun.

Any reason you don't leave it in your trunk? I would think it's safer there where no one but you knows about it.

Just stay at the holiday inn express on the pike. You go in the lobby to check in and then you pull your car around and use your room key to get into the other building. No one would see you bringing it in and out.... and they are relatively cheap. And once its secure in the room then you can go have fun in AC.... Just an option, its down by the golden coral and the Clarion

well im getting dropped off at the casino by my father or else i would leave it in my car but i will not have a vehicle... and my girlfriend and i were going to take a cab to the airport... but they will question what's in my case at the casino??

Yes, in a casino they will question why you need it staying there. If they don't, their security should be fired.

Here is the thing. You cannot carry a weapon loaded or unloaded into a casino or casino simulcasting facility. If checking in you have to walk anywhere on the gaming floor you will miss your flight.

I'm telling u I am in the air guard and we drill on AC air port... Drill weekend they put us in the holiday inn express its much closer to the air port and the lobby is separate from the rooms, u run in check in an then I around to ur room. Then u can cab or possibly shuttle into AC... I've stayed there literally about 70 times+

Don't leave a rifle in a hotel room. You will get back and find it missing. Walking through the lobby with a rifle case is a giant sign saying come steal me.

i had my gf talk to security and they said i can leave it there and they will give me a receipt and when i check out they will give it back.. they said its not uncommon to bring or have guns be checked in

I know casinos will check handguns for LEOs (in safe deposit boxes). I'm sure they have some type of security area where they would store your Stradavarius. Call and ask.

Buy a TSA approved guitar case and carry it into the hotel...Put a bunch of "Gibson, Fender and Yamaha" stickers on it....just hope no one asks you to play.
