I had to share this one. I found an awesome deal on a new S&W 500 with the 8 3/8 barrel. It arrived today. Damn the two week wait for NICS.

Not paying for ammo to shoot a full steel match. No on the snubby...i will get a 44 mag snubby. I need my fingers.

It's a pistol caliber... I don't think anyones ever tried.

Congrats I have one and love it. I've already had to send it back to S&w once though. Seems its fairly common that something internal breaks or dislodges and the action stops spinning the cylinder. Happened once to me after about 500 rounds fired.

its ported on top at the muzzle. That was by choice
