Hey everyone. New guy from Hoboken here. In the process of getting my FID and purchase permit, got all the paperwork and what not from HPD - fingerprints are scheduled for the 14th. Hopefully the 3-4 month lead time I was given by the LT turns out not to be true.

 

I haven't shot in a while, last time I did was a few years ago and shot a glock 21, ak47, sks and .3006. any recommendations for a first purchase? I think I'm set on a .40 but I'll need to hit the range as a refresher.

 

Any riders(motorcycle) here? I have a '10 FXDWG and am always up for riding.

Hello from Hoboken. I would recommend hitting the range and trying some rental firearms. See what you like best before you buy a handgun.

 

That's the plan. I'm hoping that Woodland get's their FFL soon as that would be uber convenient to go rent / try out weapons.
