What size roll pin and drill bit for stock

Recommended Posts

ive used left over roll pin from the trigger guard, if you buy one on top of the lpk. i believe its 1/8th. just make the whole 1/8th too and it will fit right in. dont go all the way through the stock though, i went so the roll pin goes in but cant come out the other side, if that makes sense.

Pick one that is robust enough to do what you want...there is no defined size to the best of my knowledge.

Nick, read your pm... :)

Before you drill and pin anything, check out page 2 of this thread:

I use this method on my Colt/Rogers stocks and it works great!!

honestly just use which ever one you want. as long as its pinned and doesn't move then you're good to go. i believe i used a 1/8th pin that was 1/2 inch long. i cut it in half and drilled 2 holes so there are 2 pins in my stock just to be sure. i also just pinned the friction lock and not into the buffer tube.
