They are having a sale, no sales tax on any gun purchase.

 

Just bought something at Rahway, nice deal.  It was below MSRP to begin with, so they are pricing better than they used to.

 

The have a Barrett 82A1, with a Leupold scope and rings, for $9350.  Very nice, and a very good price.  No tax today would save you about $650...

That flyer says no sales tax Thursday and Friday, so you should confirm with them it's also Saturday if you are making a special trip.

The "no tax" is on new guns.  Used guns are 10% off.  I've found their prices for used guns to be exceptional btw...

I have a place that does it cheap, just wanted to see what they wanted. I wanted to order a Ruger there , the guy behind the counter would not even check if it was ava. Drove to another store in Flemmington placed to order.

......and for the record. I buy clays and small stuff from there. They are a local store.

 

But i find that needing to show the Purchase Permit and FID a bit over the top in just so you can handle a handgun.

Many times at store in NJ they ask for FID only.

I have never been asked for a handgun purchase permit there.  In fact, I never have them as I usually leave them in the car.

 

They are also not for transfers.  For that, you want Gun For Hire at $20 including NICS for members...
