Recommended Posts

Funny...people here always want to sound off about holding this person, that cop, this politician accountable but did nothing about this. Sad. Thanks to you guys it will happen again

Then what will people talk about? How long it takes to get a permit?

Where you even involved in this?

How do you know it wasn't resolved to everyone's satisfaction?

How do you know Bugsy want held accountable for his actions?

Maybe it is better to keep this board out of any legal proceedings, so those affected decided that keeping mum is a good idea?

Why do you think the people involved have to tell you how it was resolved?

I didn't lose money so too bad for everybody that did. As far as I'm concerned bugsy should do it again here.

Easy Joe --  It would have cost me money to take this guy to court -- Not all of us get paid to spend the day in court

I didn't lose a penny but justice wasn't served either -- Did my CC co  hold him responsible???  I'll never know

Bottom line is court isn't a place I like to be nor do I have time for it -- you know damn well he wasn't going to show up for the 1st few court dates and it wouldn't have mattered -- I don't show up for 1 court date and he does and the case gets thrown out -- court favors the bad guy -- you of all people should know that

Did anyone besides me leave negative feedback??  Is his username still active here??

what you do is your business.... but people wonder why guys like this do things like this? the answer is simple.. no one wants to do anything about it.... so he did it before this group buy.. and he will do it again.. and again... and again.. until someone decides to step up to the plate and press some type of charges against him..

why is negative behavior repeated? lack of any consequence..

Nobody is afraid if there are no repercussions. Really didn't require that much effort but since nobody wanted to step up and do the right thing because their cc company handled it it will happen again. This is the problem. Nobody thinks about the future victims. Oh well..again...not my money

At worst his credit card merchant will sue him for the money they paid out in the charge backs plus penalties.  It willl be a civil action and not criminal prosecution. It would have been nice to see this thief pay with more then money but in the end im happy everyone is whole and we can only wish karma deals with people like bugsy

    • We never let then inside.  Last re-evaluation was 6-7 years ago, wife politely told him that he was welcome to look around the property and he could look in the windows. He saw two white resin chairs in the basement and told her that this constituted a finished basement. And everything in the basement is bare concrete/ cinder block, and mechanical systems. Nothing finished about it. Ultimately he relented and I'm sure that was a ploy to coerce us to allow him in
    • I use an Alien Gear cloak tuck (IWB) with my Shield.  Neoprene back - in the summer it does feel warm but doesn't rub or chafe.   https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-iwb-holster.html Could also go with the shapeshift as it has multiple options - OWB/IWB, Appendix... https://aliengearholsters.com/ruger-lcp-shapeshift-modular-holster-system.html
    • The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam
    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
