Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted September 22, 2014 Just a reminder. This coming Sunday is the regular monthly IDPA match at Easton. This match is usually 8 - 10 stages and Ken (the MD) has a devilishly twisted mind, so be prepared. For new shooters, contact Ken at... [email protected] ...and give him your credentials to get approved to shoot. Things like attending Mr. Stu's class or any NRA course. Participating in a match (like at Somerset) or shooting USPSA. If this is your second match, you must be an IDPA member ($40 / on-line) and a concealment garment is required. This is a lot of match for only $10. Usually breaks-up into three squads shooting simultaneously (there are multiple bays and ranges at EFGA) so throughput is pretty good. Hammer down is at 11:00 AM. Go here for more info... http://www.nepaidpascores.net/efga/efga_club_master.html Adios, Pizza Bob

Jon 264 Posted September 25, 2014 I may try to hit this one. Was rather ashamed by my performance last week, need to redeem myself.
Mr.Stu 1,922 Posted September 25, 2014 I'll be going too. Sign up is here: http://shootnscoreit.com/idpa/match/542/ Sent from my SCH-I800 using Tapatalk
Jon 264 Posted September 25, 2014 Mandatory sign-up?
Mr.Stu 1,922 Posted September 25, 2014 Not mandatory, but it helps Ken get Practiscore set up ahead of time. There is no penalty for signing up and not showing. It is easier to delete quickly in practiscore than to add. Sent from my SCH-I800 using Tapatalk

Mr.Stu 1,922 Posted September 25, 2014 I not sure what a flaggard is but the flaggon we used last weekend was clearly labeled SOMERSET CIDER. It just wouldn't be right to take it to PA. Sent from my SCH-I800 using Tapatalk

Stu, as an ex-pat Brit, I'm surprised at your misuse of the ENGLISH language. It's flagon.

Kingsoverqueens 10 Posted September 25, 2014 You guys have spelled it 3 different ways and I still don't know what it means. I know I could look it up, but what fun is that?
Sandy 44 Posted September 25, 2014 But can you finish a yard without spilling?
Mr.Stu 1,922 Posted September 25, 2014 But can you finish a yard without spilling? There are two key tricks to drinking a yard of ale: 1. Rotate the glass as you drink otherwise it all tries to come out at once. 2. Do not stand under a ceiling fan (yes, I have seen this done) Sent from my SCH-I800 using Tapatalk
Sandy 44 Posted September 25, 2014 I could probably get away with the whole standing under a fan thing.
magnawing 5 Posted September 25, 2014 Spectators allowed?
Mr.Stu 1,922 Posted September 25, 2014 Spectators allowed? At the match? Sure. Everybody must have eye and hearing protection. For drinking a yard? I don't know where to find one this side of the Atlantic. Sent from my SCH-I800 using Tapatalk

Smokin .50 1,907 Posted September 26, 2014 All this beer talk is gettin' me thirsty! Too bad I'll be in the PA woods on Sunday lookin' for trouble, lol! I fixed the gun, lol! It extracts spent shells now!

I was going to shoot my Colt , but it seems the mag release is all not working properly and stuff. You can't reinsert the mag unless you are holding it in. Strange , right? A-Tech 8 Posted September 26, 2014 I just registered, but I'm not completely sure if I'm going to make it. I got a little busier than expected after starting my holster company and need to find time to make some boolits and stuff.
