always_an_eagle 165 Posted October 12, 2016 Was on my favorite gun blog today and I came across this: http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2016/10/daniel-zimmerman/new-henry-repeating-arms-shotguns-single-shot-rifle/ Anyone interested in one? I might be interested in getting one when they come out. Probably either a shotgun or a rifle, depending on the price.
Krdshrk 3,878 Posted October 12, 2016 Lever action .410? I might have to buy one...
T Bill 649 Posted October 12, 2016 When they make a lever action along the lines of a 12 gauge Winchester Model 1887, I'll be fist in line. For now, meh!

Krdshrk 3,878 Posted October 12, 2016 Chiappa does Yeah but Chiappa's quality can be hit or miss.. Henry is proven reliable and I would definitely get a 12ga Lever if they have one.
T Bill 649 Posted October 12, 2016 Shi$appa, no thanks.
Parker 213 Posted October 12, 2016 The single-shot rifle looks interesting. If the receiver is blued steel, and not painted like on their .22's; I might be interested if the price is right.
always_an_eagle 165 Posted October 12, 2016 I want to know about the price of one of them.

ArysDaniela 2 Posted November 30, 2016 MSRP on the 20" will be $850 and 24" $902.

Might not be as pretty, but the Century PW87 I picked up at the Oaks gun show is good to go. I'm considering sending the gun to CCR to clean up the finish with cera-plate... should slick up the action.
AlexTheSane 236 Posted November 30, 2016 I'll be fist in line. No need to go that extreme. You can just buy one.

Screwball 483 Posted November 30, 2016 I think BLF has one of those... was a bit ammo picky which is strange... I just tossed Federal Target loads through it, but it is an action you need to become familiar with. Not a Marlin .30-30 or Henry .22... and since it only has the one opening (like an Ithaca 37), need to be assertive. Also, there are at least two generations of them. The one that Jeff Quinn (GunBlast) reviewed was the first one... with the issues using 2.75" shells.
Krdshrk 3,878 Posted November 30, 2016 It was either that or the Norinco one - not sure.
