rcortez 0 Posted February 7, 2017 Hi guys. Newbie here building my first AR. I was looking at barrels and saw this: https://www.rainierarms.com/faxon-firearms-ar-15-5-56-nato-14-5-gunner-mid-length-4150-qpq-pinned-brake-16 14.5 inch barrel with pinned and welded brake, making it 16 inches overall. Legal? Thanks in advance

High Exposure 5,671 Posted February 8, 2017 I like that. The brake is slim enough to let the gas block slide over - so you can still get the barrel nut of your choice on there, then slide the gas block on. Forward thinking!
Rob0115 1,107 Posted February 8, 2017 Faxon does some nice work. I have a few of their barrels, 8" 300 and 18" Grendel.
