Definitely down here in FL it is! We'll see how it goes, but I see people down here making preparations. Fueling up, buying water generators and fuel for them, etc. Bad week to do it as it's also Labor day weekend and prices are higher for that reason.

Yes, has been for a while. Supposedly, it could move through the gulf, bank to the right and move out to sea or take a track up the east coast. I must admit this one has me a bit uncomfortable to say the least. This is the first summer since Sandy that had most businesses down here on the boardwalk up and running. The beach replenishment is only half done so there are large gaps with between town beaches with no dunes - read no protection.

You aren't that familiar with the NJ court system, are you? Nothing anti-2A has ever been struck down by NJ or the 3rd circuit courts. And good luck trying to get SCOTUS to hear it.

My friends shell station got a delivery this morning. 60cents more per gallon his cost and the delivery driver said that's just the tip of the iceberg. As for asking for the phone number thing. The Jersey-legal Bushmasters and ProOrds (both now out of production) have carbon-15 lowers and uppers, metal LPKs, shorter-than-normal bolt carriers (with standard bolts) and proprietary plastic buffer tubes and skinny buffer springs. I have a polymer lower in my safe, transferred as a handgun on a permit (by PK90 when he was still here) awaiting the time when one of my factory carbon-15 lowers fails and needs replacing. The factory 7.5" fluted and/or govt profile (skinny in the middle) barrel really helps to shave weight off the finished build. I had one of them out at SJSC last week (at the final fun night of the Youth Rifle League) and the sucker is still worthy of its name - "Thunder and Lightning" !!

Stations are gouging. I saw $2.19 today at one station for cash, same price it has been. The one down the street went from $2.27 cash or credit to $2.59 to $2.79 today. No chance they received a $.52/gallon increase. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

sadly, it may well happen again. they learned from katrina though. everyone went nuts, 'cause the prices doubled just about overnight. this time, they seem to be raising them slow. the station across the street from me is 2.87 for the cheap stuff. over 3 bucks for premium.

You won't be able to get it under the weight limit unless you go all plastic and turn down the barrel.

With the current atmosphere in D.C., I think that gave a renewal of hope to the 2A-minded crowd. Hopefully we can get some things done / "fixed" soon

I'm sure the Liberals will pass a bunch of make them feel good Anti-2A legislation, and it will all be meaningless when an injunction is issued and it is struck down by the Courts. Trump has 3 Vacancies to fill in NJ plus 2 Judicial Emergencies and a dozen Vacancies to fill in the 3rd Circuit as a Whole with one more coming. Most importantly Trump will get 3 nominations to the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals.
