3 pointsA psychologist can attest to your mental health. A medical doctor can attest to your physical health. It seems pretty simple to get a medical doctor to do a checkup and provide a copy of whatever standard form they use showing no medical diseases, BP, etc. I think you're being tricked. The first insurmountable hurdle was finding a psyc who would declare you harmless. After you overcame that hurdle, they throw another hurdle in the way. I think you need a lawyer to write a letter to force them to clearly explain what the requirements are for getting your permit so they can't continue to make up something new every time you comply with the last made up thing.

2 pointsThis. A forensic psychologist is licensed by the state to make determinations of mental health. I would ask why the Police Department wants you to see a medical doctor, or psychiatrist when a licensed mental health professional has already provided an evaluation. A lawyer will be able to put this in writing and request formal responses so that a paper trail will form if it does need to go to court. The police department will be forced to basically either say ok, or defend the refusal to accept an evaluation of a licensed mental health professional. If the police wanted to help you, they would have accepted it. don't be Naive.

1 pointI see nothing wrong with you asking opinions. No one even knows who you are. Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk

1 pointI would deduct everything but $2000. That is what taxes on my place would be in a free state, so that must be the fair market value.

1 pointBased on everyone's suggestions, the Pflueger President what I'm strongly leaning towards. Haven't had a chance to go check one out yet, but assuming I like it as much as everyone says I will, one will be coming home with me soon. Thanks again all!

1 pointCheck the rubber brake hoses at each wheel and make sure that you don't have an aneurysm. Check while someone is pumping the pedal. If you find a hose that needs to be replaced, replace all four hoses and I'd recommend using braided stainless lines. You also may want to consider taking it someplace where they can power-bleed the brakes. Adios, Pizza Bob

1 pointSo, a company that pulled a Bill Ruger, is "severing ties" with a company pulling an even BIGGER Bill Ruger, and one that as far as anyone can tell has never sold any of their products in latter's stores? No, S.A. doesn't get a tick back in their favor for this.

1 pointSpringfield Armory now gets a pass? Still a long way from making amends to what they did to IL gun owners. Springfield Armory and Rock River Arms and SB-1657 Regards, TokenEntry

1 pointWhat I find ironic is, people were/are willing to pay NH $100 for their non-resident permit. As soon as they removed the home state restriction how many people FLOCKED to get it? I mean it was a months long backlog there for a while. Given the number of different state plates I see on my trips across the state of PA, I'd imagine they'd (PA) could pull in a couple million dollars worth of revenue by doing the same. That's a lot of cash to help with the "opoid crisis" I'd think.... or a lot for someone to pocket. ETA: just looking at the nearby "red" states on handgunlaw.us... NY, NJ, RI DE,MD,DC, and now VA. residents of those 7 locales alone who frequent PA would flock to get a PA non-res permit if they offered it for sale like NH does.
