  1. He might be mistaking the laws that apply to him, and thinking they apply to you as well. Their is an ATF ruling that went out to FFLs that states specifically what constitutes manufacturing v. gunsmithing.
  2. Have your dealer contact the NICS unit. We are waiting about 6 business days for a response, They are losing a bunch of them as they are faxed in.
  3. Exactly. If I accidentally botch a load and it hurts me or my gun, then so be it, lesson learned. If it were to happen to someone I sold reloads to I would feel horrible. No matter how good you think your reloads are, you will have an issue. Its not if, its when.
  4. I buy brass and have brass given to me. I do not, and will not sell reloads.
  5. we have all the tools in the shop, as do many of the forum members.
  6. NJ hold up. All checks are faxed in. Return time is between 4 and 10 business days without any rhyme or reason.
  7. I'd see if you need it first. I've heard good things about the cylinder and slide products, but use caution. If your firing pin is too long, and you have too much spring pressure you risk puncturing the primer, and trapping the firing pin in the primer. If you do this the cylinder will be stuck in that position, and you will have an even bigger problem on your hands. Henry
  8. Frank- Looks like you are starting to build pressure, but it looks like you are still pretty ok. The edges of the primers where they meet the case are still rounded over like a factory primer. High ppressures will cause the cup to flow into that area and it will be flat all the way across the base of the case. just my .02
  9. Seth is a good guy. I buy fire dept stuff from him
  10. We are running 4-5 business days Fax only for the foreseeable future
  11. Take the class, its worth the money. You will just practice and reinforce bad habits unless you are trained.
  12. Illegal. You are acting as a manufacturer within the state of New Jersey without the needed FFL. It doesn't matter if its 1 gun or 100. Building on a legally obtained complete receiver is a different matter.
  13. Its well worth the course, even if just to understand the rules more clearly. -Henry
  14. I think that might be a forum members gun. A few guys on here own them
  15. Be very careful with this load. Its slightly hot over the Sierra Manual and is compressed which can cause a pressure spike. My pet load for this combination is on the lower end of the range. PM sent about the powder. As far as TAC, check out H335. Its a good powder in 223, and I've had a lot of success wit it.
  16. From an armorers prospective, the Glock 36 is the bastard child of the Glock lineup. They share almost no parts with the normal glock line, don't sell well, and really don't give you much over a Glock 30. Henry
  17. Jon me too for my personal account. Thanks -Henry
