  1. They would....for Obama!! lol. This is what frightens me about my upcoming move, worried about picking the right neighborhood and having great neighbors....
  2. Well how's this for a kick in the balls: I submitted for 3 p2p's back on January 9th, just got the call today May 20th that they are ready, so I go and pick them up. With NICS checks now running 20 days, I will only be able to use ONE of the permits, just ONE, as I am moving July 15th. So two of my permits, that I waited 4.5 months for will just go to waste all because of this RIDICULOUS bullshit game that this POS state is playing on the firearms community. BUT, THERE IS A BRIGHT SIDE TO THIS STORY!!!! I am moving to SOUTH CAROLINA, so F you State of New Jersey!
  3. To the OP, I am sorry I know you're new and you posted before you felt a little out of place here in the forum but I don't think you totally thought this through and REALLY tried to boil down the specifics and complexity of this REALLY bad idea. Can you share your thoughts on why you think this would be a good idea? Remember, this world we live in is not Minority Report as these politicians would like to think.
  4. Well I can finally say that the Hamilton PD finally got my permits in, submitted Jan. 9th and got the approval call today. Going to pick them up today around 2:30.
  5. Congratulations on the move! Wish you well and enjoy the next chapter. We are moving to SC middle of July and are extremely excited about it.
  6. Lotta doctors offices are asking that now. Even mine started that a few years ago and I was going there for 28 years. I just had this conversation with my wife last night as she's oblivious to news and happenings going on around her especially regarding firearms. I told her that if any health professional ever asks her this or it's on a form and I am not there to not answer the question and if they make a big deal about it then that office will no longer be our primary care office.
  7. I was going to stir the pot (get it) but decided against it. But what in the hell kind of convenience stores do you all frequent where there's a "tip jar"? I've seen many charity donation boxes and such but never have I seen a store with a tip jar. At a convenience store you are not being waited on or served, so what would be the purpose of a tip?
  8. For some reason the sound on my iPhone for that video is not working so ill have to watch it at home. But THANK YOU anyways!!!
  9. I don't know for a fact, but I am going to say square is a Silicon Valley company and just like every other company there in California they are all liberal dopes. It's a shame they took this position but they can update their TOS at any time. F 'em! I don't use it but I certainly never will now.
  10. Not anywhere as bad as in the valley (Mesa, Tempe, Phoenix, etc) but some have probably made their way up there. It's a mountainous, small-town atmosphere but a nice community.
  11. Slide Rock! Great times in Sedona. Beautiful country just have to watch out for flash floods when "it does" rain.
  12. Ill pass right by on the way to our house on Mill Creek. Ill check it out if I am not running late.
  13. Yes, I've been an Amex holder for over 12 yrs and they increased my apr to 14.99% just because that's what they said they were doing to everyone because of the credit crisis. And my credit score is perfect. That sent me over the edge with them.
  14. Yeah except they did not give a crap about their customers in the financial crisis and raised your APR even for customers with 10+ years. I have a corp Amex and a personal, just paid off the personal and will be using all my points and closing it. Not happy with Amex but I will agree that they take care of fraudulent charges and contact you about suspicious activity.
  15. Use mint.com and enter in what is most important to you (hotel stays, airlines miles, cash back) and mint will give you a list of cards matching your criteria. Then choose. And it's a good personal finance site on top of that!
  16. Yeah well what is that price? Coming from someone who has never had to buy 5.56/.223 ammo before I have no clue what a "today's decent price is" ya know? Like for me, I'm not buying any 9mm over $0.42/rd. Handgun ammo comes in boxes of 50, but I've noticed that 5.56/.223 ammo comes in boxes of 20? Wow smile that link has way more info than you need to know but good to have otherwise. Thanks. And thanks to Teufelhunden for that ar15.com link
  17. Are there specific brands of 5.56 or .223 that you folks would recommend a person new to the AR platform should stick to? And what grain? (Just for plinking)
  18. That's a great price on the 9mm. Wondering also if anyone has shot this?
  19. I couldnt have said it better and applaud this post! For us this is exactly why we're moving (amongst other reasons but these being major factors) to South Carolina. For young NJ citizens, especially those with a family, it's just damn near impossible to afford to live here. And ryan_j, I would research AZ a WHOLE LOT before you decide to move there. I used to live there back in 2001-2004 and it was a MUCH different place than it is now. Phoenix and the surrounding areas are chock full of illegals, and there's a lot of criminal activity in those areas now and has gotten a lot worse. The cartels have made their presence there also. I still have a few friends that stayed out there and they tell me it's gotten a lot worse. Just food for though.
  20. Didn't you know that 90% of Americans are in favor of gun control? Or is that number 65%? Or..well you get it...It really doesn't matter, the politicians will do what they want until WE THE PEOPLE actually do something about it to change that fact. How many politicians have been voted for on the basis of their stance on issues and then once voted in guess what, they turn tail and flip. Their the scum of the earth. You'd think that by now good, normal thinking citizens would have entered into politics to try and flush these DB's out.
  21. My wishlist consists of just getting my damn permits before I move in two months (I'm just closed month 4 wait time) But I am looking at the following: M&P Shield or M&P Compact SA XDm Subcompact Savage Arms Model 42 (.22LR/.410 combination) Just a start....
  22. Interesting indeed. I was routed to an article yesterday while perusing Fox News that was on this site called "National Memo" or something and the article was about 5 Rep. Senators whos approval ratings plummeted since opposing the UBC, and I was reading through the comments and some dipshit woman was spouting off the most ridiculous statements (to her they were real facts) and two others posting comments were just blowing my mind at how incredibly far gone a lot of people are in this country and it amazes me how many boot-lickers of the government we have that just think they can do no harm. Hello, ever read a history book people!!! Here's the article: http://www.nationalm...kground-checks/ The three individuals posting are Barbara Morgan, Independent1, and Pi_Boson. Real morons! This info graphic would serve them well!
  23. It is pork roll. I seriously have this debate practically every year with my group of friends whom we wakeboard with, they are all from North Jersey and myself and other buddy who is from PA know it is pork roll (I am from below 195, so South Jersey to me). It's funny to see this debated here as well.
