  1. I forget the make and model, but i have seen the same procedure (slipping the thin piece of metal through the door to reset the combination) used to open a different brand of safe.
  2. The Pennsylvania constitution has a statement that is at least as strong as the second amendment. Do what I will be doing in the next 1 to 2 years: Find an area you like and you can afford and enjoy freedom not found in the garden state. Aside from some limitations in some areas on not being able to shoot on one's property for purposes other than self defense, enjoy your future freedom! I lived in a private Pennsylvania community that only allowed for self defense use, and I would move back to that same community in a heartbeat.
  3. Yeah.... Stallone apparently hates guns, except for the ones that give him his paycheck.
  4. Sadly, I think people are finding out the hard way that the first amendment no longer applies equally to them if they own firearms, with regards to making statements that can be taken out of context. This appears to be more common now, based on how unreasonably scared the accuser is. I am by no means condoning offensive speech by saying this, just that equal treatment under the law is being further destroyed by so called "extreme risk protection orders."
  5. It is frustrating that Murphy does not appear to know how existing laws work, but acts like he does, and is believed as though he does. This is also another example of where "mental illness" goes undefined, likely to the detriment of those who may not be prohibited persons, even by New Jersey's stricter standards. It is my hope that all the gun manufacturers boycott and nullify the State of New Jersey's accounts.
  6. Fear not!! I know all too well that they avoid factual logical thinking. It is my hope that by explaining their fallacy where we can, that hopefully a few will join our cause.... Somebody has to tell these misled people that they have replaced thinking with emoting! :-)
  7. I saw the letter on another forum too. Paragraph 2 has the "100 American deaths a day" distortion. So either all those executives are too stupid to look into to raw data of what that number really means, or they are being dishonest to the American public and the Senate.
  8. The article sounds like the typical left in trying to divide gun owners. God forbid any of us belong to more than one gun group!! It sounds like the next generation of the "Deacons for Defense and justice." It might be worth joining. We are stronger when we are together.
  9. I have seen this before. It is based on a nationwide survey done with 4000 people.
  10. WHEREAS they conveniently do not explain where they get their 100 American deaths per day statistic. WHEREAS they lie to the American people.
  11. This is the first I am seeing it, and i check pafoa.org and drudgereport.com every few hours. It is very frustrating that the media does not care if a trigger is pulled, but instead, who pulls the trigger what kind of trigger is pulled.
  12. Walmart just gave gun owners a big slap in the face. It concerns me that they were so quick to cave to media pressure. I am curious if there was any NRA involvement. Time to take my business elsewhere.
  13. When the government gives you lemons....
  14. Ugh. This reminds me of when fast Eddie Rendell promised that gambling would solve Pennsylvania's education funding problems.
  15. Thank you. It looks like they do operate similarly to Pennsylvania, except that Pennsylvania is (usually) big enough to hold their wayward cities in check, unlike the majority of the northeast. Oh, how I miss Pennsylvania's flat income tax rate!
  16. Is it also true that a portion of property taxes goes to other school districts in New Jersey? I know Philadelphia is always begging for $$$ in Pennsylvania for their schools, but that is through the state tax system not the local tax system.
  17. I like the super-economic idea of having different tyes of rifles in the same caliber.
  18. "Daily scourge of gun violence" ...... sigh The state has convinced itself that violence is no longer a gang problem. Double sigh.
  19. Life in prison for drug trafficking? I looked it up and found a 20 year maximum sentence. Besides, Bernie Sanders wants these folks OUT of prison!
  20. Thanks for the link. I had a difficult time getting prints for my Arizona permit by several local police departments when I lived in the Poconos. I was able to meet up with a trooper in northern Pennsylvania. I went with the AZ permit so I wouldn't have to get reprinted every 5 or 7 years, although for New Jersey residents, a Florida permit is the only way to carry there.
  21. That is near Temple university hospital, which sadly, does not surprise me.
  22. I am pretty sure that if reducing the percentages of deaths is the democrat "endgame," we are there already. It appears that the side that defines the terms like "warfare" and "weapons of war" tends to have the advantage in debate. We need to question the out of context terms that these people use.
