Conceal Carry Permit in NJ, Feasible?

You'll never get it. Even if you say you carry lots of cash on you for business. It's not a good enough excuse. A buddy of mine years ago applied, filled out all the forms and they denied it. He says he has to pick up cash from his accounts that pay him and he could have $20,000 on himself and sometimes more at any given time. They told him "ohh thats not enough cash for a permit." I wonder how much he would have to say to be "enough money."

 

Quite simply, he would have to GIVE that $20,000 to the politicians and the CCW would MAGICALLY appear in his mailbox.

Under the current law you will not get a ccw. That is why you SHOULD send a letter to our representatives so that our voices can be heard. If they're ignored you can then vote for someone who favors ccw.

There is no political gain by doing it. There is allot to lose should it go wrong once in the hands of a crackpot. The best way would be a state referendum. Let the voters decide.

Agreed, i had a cousin at a family event who found out i owned guns and told me i should "Get rid of them." i responded with "Why would i do something STUPID like that?"
