Can I Carry a Weapon At My Place of Business

Recommended Posts

I'm not going to hold anyone to their answers.  Just looking to get a start:

My mother owns a business in NJ.  It's run in a rented space.

My sister and I are both PA residents and work in the business at that NJ location.  Can we legally arm ourselves while on the leased premises?  Do we need our mother's permission?  Do we need to be listed on the lease?

Thanks . . .

"If the lease or rental agreement is in your name, you're considered to be "in possession" of the property, and may carry there as long as there's nothing in your lease that forbids it."  That covers your Mom but I don't know about you and your sister.

If it's not in your name, and you don't have a NJ CCW, no.
