Pistol sales

Are sales of pistols restricted here 

looking to lighten my collection

Are you a new resident to NJ? 
 

All firearm sales must go through an FFl. 

Buyer must have current NJ FIOD card for all purchases, and also must have a pistol permit to but a handgun. 
 

There may be more rules, but I moved back home a few years ago and am not current.

You don't need an FPIC to transfer a handgun, only a permit to purchase a pistol. 

Having said that, they give you a new electronic FPIC when you apply for pistol permits in FARS.

Yes and I have sold on gun broker but fees are too much

Why not list them on this forum first?  It's likely you would find a local buyer and outside of the forum membership fee you are not paying anything additional.

Have you checked out the listings here to see what people are selling?  Handguns all the time.
