Whamo 5 Posted December 24, 2009 I was shopping for a new 9mm and was not looking at Glocks. I was thinking about an HK, Sig, or another High power. A friend suggested I try his G-17 out so I took it to the range. I used to think Glocks were ugly. I shot tighter groups with the G-17 than with my trusty old Browning HP. I was really surprised. I ended up buying a Glock 19. I love it. I can shoot it as good as I can shoot a hand gun. I can trust my life that God forbid, if I need to pull the trigger to defend myself, it will fire. MedicYeti 96 Posted December 24, 2009 I sold my glock because my meaty hands got rubbed by the slide with each shot. The finger grooves worked well with my big hands. I found it to be reliable and accurate, simply not for me. I'll stick with mx XD.

ChrisJM981 924 Posted December 30, 2009 By far the best polymer pistol there is. 100,000 XD owners disagree. My guess is more glock owners disagree to the XD owners disagreeance... I love my G34, the only thing I would like to add to it (dare I say) is a external safety. I know it can't fire without pulling the trigger but I'm still uneasy about it regardless. Plaxico Burress didn't think it could go off either...
