Dick's in Brick/Lakewood

I understand they are building a new Dick's on Rt 70, just west of Exit 88. It is about 10 minutes from Shore Shot and Brick Armory.

It's right next to the new Costco, that plaza is going to be a complete mess but at least I can get last minute ammo cheaper then at the ranges.

Like you, its easy for me to get to Manahawkin but depressing when they NEVER have what I am looking for. Freehold is a nice ride every once in a while but I def call first to see if they have what I am looking for. If this store opens and stocks like Freehold then I will be happy.

Scott, my son used to live in Howell so it was only minutes from the Freehold store, but now he has moved to Long Island so I won't be up that way too much. I am hoping the new store will be well stocked.

Talked to someone the other day that works in the Freehold store that goes to BA... The Lodge area is going to be about 1/3 the size of the Manahawkin one, so don't count on a big inventory. But at least its closer.

I've been fine, just busy. Haven't had much time to get over to BA or BS on here. I still check the forums, just haven't posted. I'll make it over Ba on a wednesday night one of these weeks.

so it looks like the Brick store will be mostly clothes. shoes and team stuff. There is little profit in guns and ammo and most hard lines like fishing tackle and sporting goods is poor too. The real profit is in clothes and shoes.

Did they put up the sign for it before the store is even open?

I didn't notice a sign, I asked someone what was being built. My sister was at Costco this week and I asked her to check on the progress and she said they were still working on the building and that it did not look finished.
