BCeagle 12 Posted February 1, 2010 make any one thing legal what would it be? Any one gun or feature you would want in NJ? Off the top of my head: Reality: I would like a collapsible/folding stock and a 30 round or drum magazine Fantasy: I would also like a 3 round burst mode to be legal. Maksim 1,504 Posted February 1, 2010 Folding Stocks. actually, what about scrubbing the whole "banned by name" list? is that an option?
SpecOps2087 3 Posted February 2, 2010 Folding stock for sure
NJ609 22 Posted February 2, 2010 Being involved in my first AR build, I have to say that the stock REALLY *$#*@(# takes the fun out of it. Oh that Magpul looks so good! If only I lived in America....
axeman_g 128 Posted February 2, 2010 flash.... it pisses me off that they think that is an evil feature.... dumbasses. But I just thought of it.... MAG LIMIT!!!!!!! This really pisses me off!!!!!!!!!
djg0770 481 Posted February 2, 2010 ANY Mag limit for the win - as it effects more than just semiauto rifles
Malsua 1,422 Posted February 2, 2010 Mag limit. I recall shooting a 22 of some sort about 20 years ago(step dad owned it. back in Ohio) with a drum on it. 250 rounds in it, I think. Shot and shot and shot and shot. Was fun.
cuervo25_1 0 Posted February 2, 2010 Folding Stocks. actually, what about scrubbing the whole "banned by name" list? is that an option? How about scrubbing the word illegal from use with firearms. Menaing everything is legal.Unless of course your a felon, or mentally ill
HODGIE 3 Posted February 2, 2010 Restricted Magazine capacity is by far the worst. Pinning a stock is lame but not that big if a deal, I would shoot my AR at the length I pinned it anyway.
bbk 188 Posted February 2, 2010 I agree that magazine restriction is probably my least favorite. My fantasy would be SBRs, but then of course it would be a neutered SBR... which would suck anyway.
Guest Posted February 2, 2010 I would say, let me have a: Pistol grip on my semi auto shotgun Let me choose how many rounds my mags can hold. Thank you.
Genewarper111 18 Posted February 2, 2010 I'd allow adjustable, but not folding, stocks.... This would enhance useability without compromising thebfear of concealability I'd also allow rifles to have standard 30rnd mags, simply to make mag purchase cheaper for everyone. Happy shooting. DevsAdvocate 112 Posted February 2, 2010 Grenade Launcher... why fret about having 15 or 30 rounds when you can use one 40mm to blow it up?
BCeagle 12 Posted February 2, 2010 I miss seeing AKs with big banane clips. They name list is stupid I agree. The reason I mentioned foldind stocks is because of recent interest in SCARs and ACRs.
Caine 147 Posted February 2, 2010 Magazine capacity, followed closely by collapsible stocks
KpdPipes 388 Posted February 2, 2010 Grenade Launcher... why fret about having 15 or 30 rounds when you can use one 40mm to blow it up? Grenade launcher in the AWB actually referrs to 22mm Flash-hiders, which is the NATO standard for Rifle Grenades which are still in use in a lot of nations. A 40MM/M-203 style launcher is already prohibited by another section of 2C:39, aside from the NFA restrictions. Destructive Devices are a different Issue from the AWB and Evil Features
Pew Pew Plates 358 Posted February 3, 2010 Most of the assault rifles have pistol grips. why not take that off? its the most widely used evil thing. Ban something specific like folding stocks....well alot of ARs and AKs have them but they ALL have pistol grips. If the pistol grips are off the list you can still have one more evil feature (like the folding stock)
