Hoboken has been really great about permits, got my original FID and pistol permit in about 5 weeks and things have been slow for them I think, the detective told me to expect 4 weeks this time

Why wait? Apply for six permits every six months six weeks prior to their expiration. No waiting ever. Just turn in the unused, if they want them.

Get the p226 9mm and get 22 conversion kit best of both worlds and you only burn one permit.

That's awesome. Next door in Jersey City I waited 6 months for my FID. It would have been longer too if I didn't go and pester them for it. Pistol permits were three months. That was ten years ago. I don't know if they are better or worse now.

my coworkers just got his from raritan a week after the sagem morpho trip... it was like 3 weeks total. It took longer to get a fingerprinting appt.

It used to take about 10 days, then Obama got in and doubled. Now it's about a month.
