They have a begginers shotgun course thing. Instructors will be there with free shotguns to use, clays and ammo and you can shoot a bit for free with help AFAIK. NOT sporting clays, just informal clay shooting.

I dont believe I'll be makin' it out there though

True genius on the part of the state and county to schedule both these events on the same weekend.

Aren't these the same two organization's that do emergency management and public safety? (face palm)

i was there today with my girlfriend...

as far as gun related vendors... anjrpc was in attendance

along with another group- i forget who though...

 

got to shoot clay?( i don't even know what the right term is- bright orange disks!)

it was my first time and i think i did all right...

also checked out the archery range and shot compound...
