I got a safe!

So finally made up my mind and got me a safe. I drove to Sports Authority and they had a Centurion made by Liberty on sale for 549 and they only had the one on the floor without packaging and manuals so I was able to get it for 409 tax included. I put it in the back of my trunk and drove to Home Depot to get me a hand truck and some anchors and now is happily living next to my reloading bench

Good price, but there's no sales tax on gun safes in NJ. The guy jerked you just a little bit.

Congrats on the purchase , i too just got a safe , a Stack On 10 gun safe from Walmart for $278 and .97cents shipping , its now nicely bolted in and ready for filling !!!!

Same thing happened to me. Excitement at getting the safe in place quickly tempered by how close to full it was once I put all the ammo and guns in it...

 

Congrats! Next up consider getting a dehumidifier for it if you don't have one already.

Every gun owner should have a safe. Period. My co-worker has 2 guns and no safe. I remind him to get one ASAP. I offer to help him move the thing if need be. Even his mom reminds him to get one.

I fully agree with having a safe. No more than 2 months after I bought my first gun, my handgun was stolen. Fortunately for me I did get it back. I bought a safe a week later.
