Best fight scenes!

Recommended Posts

This is a remake of the Bruce Lee Fists of Fury. I think Jet Li's fight against the school is even more impressive than Bruce Lee's. Or maybe just the cinematography has improved in 25 years.

"Take your Chinese shoes and get out of here" That's a great one, the Asian version of "go get your shinebox"?

At the time, this was definitely one of my favorite movies - fights start at 3:48

On the first page sir, posted by yours truly. Love you Jack!

Big ups to Ray Ray and totalabuse....the "They Live" fight scene is my favorite...and I just learned the black guy's name (and I should know it because he's in everything).

I enjoyed this clip. Does that make me racist?

Why would it?

Black guy and white guy get in a verbal dispute.

White guy walks away from fight, to front of bus.

Black guy follows to front, talks more shit, throws a punch at white guy and misses.

White guy kicked the shit out of a wannabe tough guy.

>The police did track down Vietnam Tom(white guy), and arrested him for assulat. But I believe it was evetually thrown out.

Justice was had.

johnp, not everyone knows my sense of humor. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing that guy, who was obviously used to intimidating others, get his a** beaten. I wondered if I would enjoy it as much if the colors of the combatants were reversed, and I think the answer is yes, so I guess I'm good.

This one is kind of long, Its the story about the North Hollywood shootout. It seems to be pretty accurate to what really happened. Shows the bravery of the cops and just how out gunned they were for a while. If you skip to around the 40:00 mark that's when the shoot out starts. Those cops are Heroes.

Clip with some fight scenes from a little known flick called Sinners and Saints.

Surprisingly, they're going to do a sequel to S&S. I'm curious if Puzikas's recent "mishap" will affect the gunplay in the movie, since, from what I understand, he is responsible for much of it.

    • We never let then inside.  Last re-evaluation was 6-7 years ago, wife politely told him that he was welcome to look around the property and he could look in the windows. He saw two white resin chairs in the basement and told her that this constituted a finished basement. And everything in the basement is bare concrete/ cinder block, and mechanical systems. Nothing finished about it. Ultimately he relented and I'm sure that was a ploy to coerce us to allow him in

    • The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam
    • I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
    • Check the primers on the ammo you didn't shoot yet. Are they fully seated? If the primer is not just below flush with the back of the case, the first hit can seat it better then the second hit ignites it.
