Get out the shovels and the blowers

Recommended Posts

I'm firmly in the 6-12 range and since my driveway is at 1250feet above msl, we always get it earlier and stronger than predicted. Time to try out the blade on the truck.

South Jersey will probably just get rain. This is always subject to accuracy in reporting. Some times these weather folks wet their pants at the prospect of a big weather event, so it may all be bullsqueeze.

Check out the following URL and put in your zip code for your city and then click on Weather graph towards the lower right corner of the page.. It will give you a breakdown by the hour and what the weather will be like each hour as will as snowfall accumulations. We have a lot of weather guys locally and in the centers that I talk with all the time, but I still always look at this, plus is like a picture and I like pictures....:icon_mrgreen:

I dunno what rock I've been hiding under... last time I checked the weather we were maybe supposed to get rain... now I'm on the border of the 1-3/3-6 zone. Bleh.

On a somewhat related subject, during the threads for Hurricane Irene, a couple people mentioned a fuel stabilizer that was better than Sta-bil. Anyone remember the name of the product?

Yup plenty of uses, I still have stabil and will now use it till it's gone and then just use the sea foam. I have used sea foam for years I never read the label that far down that mentioned it was a good fuel stabilizer until the hurricane thread. I do put a little through all my vehicles a few times a year and I have no complaints.

Keep an eye one it, and like last year every storm was being reported, if we have just a slight shift or it slows down a little bit, or the temps are 1 degree cooler, we will get slammed, if not, it's beach weather.

Well it looks like I ain't going to the beach tomorrow, Just glad it a Saturday at the airport and a lot lighter schedule as well as I'm working the morning and will be out of there before this crap hit,,, I hope..:icon_mrgreen:

Sea foam is good, PRI-G is as good or better. Pri-g can actually resurrect bad gas.

Never tried PRI-G, but I know Seafoam is good because it counteracts the ethanol, which is the worst thing for your engine that they have done to gas so far.

Yeah, Sea Foam is good stuff. Pri-g does that as well. It will also hold fuel for 2-3 years and a re-application after that will bring the gas right back.
