Hi there, I'm a new member, my name is Bruce. I discovered this forum while surfing for some ammo information. I've been collecting guns and shooting for just about my entire life. Didn't do much shooting for years, but recently got back in to it. I'm a lifelong Bergen County resident and can remember when gun shops were in almost every town. I really hate living in the state of New Jersey as it seems like the most gun unfriendly place in the USA. I'd like to move to a "FREE" state, but the wife won't leave her relatives. I mostly do handgun shooting these days, but still like to break some clay birds from time to time. I don't hunt anymore, it got to be too much like work. I started handgun shooting in the 1960s at the old Garfield Shooting Range which was located in the basement of Jimmy's Bar in Garfield. I wasn't even old enough to drive, but my mother used to drive me there and drop me off with my .38 in a tackle box. She'd pick me up when they closed. Imagine that today?
