You're one of my first gun pals!

 

I didn't have any time this summer but I could have snuck out for sparta and since you didn't pester me, I didn't go!

 

I _DEPEND_ on you to get me to the range.

 

You have responsibilities you didn't even know you had!

 

Please, consider your gun pals when you're absent.

Hey, Mark.

 

I was hoping the regular Sparta meetup thing was happening in my absence, but apparently not.

 

I didn't get out but a handful of times last season, and half of the time I just turned around and went home because there was nobody else at the trap field. I don't like shooting alone, and I would never drag Pete away from his skeet buddies to pull trap for me if I'm the only one there.

Not bad Ken. My days as a NJ resident are very numbered. Hoping to get out of here within the next couple months.

 

Glad to see you haven't sold your guns and gone liberal on us.

Not much chance of that happening. Where are you going?

In regards to what have you missed...

 

A whole bunch of mall ninjas.

That's mostly why I left for a while. It was getting pretty strange in here.

What did you miss?

 

Maks has converted solely to Airsoft guns.

Ray Ray has given up on Shotguns and is shooting Race guns in USPSA.

Eric has stopped finding Pink Unicorns and actually started buying Pink Unicorns... IT'S SO FLUFFY!

Steph7 changed her name to Steph69.

Harry no longer rides Harleys - he switched to scooters.

Old School doesn't use ARs anymore - he's turned to the AK Dark side.

GlennP bought an AR15

Here is what you need to do.

 

Suggest a time for us all to go to CR and shoot clays. Since I sold my AX, my thrower is in my shed...so I need motivation to get it out of there.

 

There are a shitton of newbies here that have joined CR...we'll probably get a bunch that show up

I went from shooting guns to only collecting guns - or so it seems.

 

I haven't shot a shotgun in so long...

 

Us cats, who need herding, have missed you.

This is the same boat that I have been in.....gotta get to the range. We should plan a CR meet if for nothing else posteritys sake!

I'll let someone else take up the mantle of leadership. I'm done with Community Organizing.

 

I think Steph disappeared a couple of months before I did.

      We never let then inside.  Last re-evaluation was 6-7 years ago, wife politely told him that he was welcome to look around the property and he could look in the windows. He saw two white resin chairs in the basement and told her that this constituted a finished basement. And everything in the basement is bare concrete/ cinder block, and mechanical systems. Nothing finished about it. Ultimately he relented and I'm sure that was a ploy to coerce us to allow him in

      The  12-1 compression ratio L88 is long gone. This is GM's updated version. it might be  pump gas 10-1 engine The L88 was a aluminum head  cast iron block engine with a nasty solid lifter cam. the  ZL1 was a all aluminum  12 or 13-1 compression ratio engine with the best forged internal parts at the time and had a even nastier solid lifter cam

      I like my regular carry holster.  OWB leather with belt slots.  I've been carrying for over a year and it was comfortable and I hardly even noticed it.  I carry (usually) a Ruger LCP .380 - light, convenient, tiny. But...today I ended up taking it off an leaving it home after a few hours. I cut down a big maple tree a few days ago and I spent 3/4 of today loading and unloading firewood into the back of my truck and a trailer.  It was a warm day, I was dirty, tired, sweaty, and my holster was rubbing against my side.  The leather and exposed metal snap was no longer comfortable. I'm thinking about adding a layer of something to that part of the holster to soften the contact.  Anything insulating will make it worse.  I don't want a sweaty, hotter holster against my skin.  I'm imagining something thin, breathable, that won't absorb sweat, and softer than leather, metal snaps, and rivets.   But I have no idea what would work. I'm hoping somebody else has already figured this out and I can just do what they did. Any suggestions appreciated.
