How much ammo

So, I'm curious approximately how much ammo people go through a month, especially people that do a lot of gun games. I'm just starting out with pistols and I seem to be increasing round counts every month. Probably on track to do 1k 9mm and at least that in .22LR this month.

for centerfire rifle I would say maybe 1500-2k. For pistol 200 if that. I am more of a rifle guy than anything

9mm : 300-750 (<10% reloads)

.38/.357: 100-200 (75% reloads)

.223/5.56: Usually 75-125 (90% reloads). Occasionally shoot an IDPA match w/rifle that adds another 100 rounds of factory .223

12guage: 50-75 shells (0% reloads).

Few hundred pistol rounds, 1000 rounds or so of .22, and we'll see on the 223/556 LOL. Got a drop in .22 conversion for the AR so hopefully it wont be too bad...

Eh, 100-200 rounds every time I visit the range. That'd be about once every few months.

I don't get out to the range much. When I do go, I have a propensity for firing a LOT of ammunition. I'm pretty sure that my record in an hour was about 400 rds of .22lr using a bolt action in an hour. It could have been more, but I was teaching my friend midget how to shoot. She needed A LOT of help XD.

2500 centerfire, between the difference calibers, shooting 3 or 4 times a week. Probably another 1000 or 1500 in rimfire. Reloading is the only way to go.
