Combat Auto 174 Posted November 6, 2012 Looks like a great weather day for Sunday - Sunny 'n 60... Anyone know if CJR&P got thier power back - on their web site it says all ranges closed/no power as of11/1? -Joe

Ryan626 5 Posted November 7, 2012 I really hope there's a match this Sunday!!
raz-0 1,265 Posted November 7, 2012 If the weather and status of the club permits, we'll try to put one on. PS. does anyone have my craftsman screw gun from last CJ match. It has gone missing.
AS350Driver 56 Posted November 8, 2012 I'm having my doubts that we're gonna get this match in. I looked at JCP&L's outage map for Jackson Twp. around 6pm when I got home, and they were saying just over 500 customers were without power. I looked at it in the last half hour and that number has jumped to over 1200, weather related i'm sure.
Maksim 1,504 Posted November 8, 2012 Power outages by the office, something fell? But in all honesty, besides the gate.... wtf do we need power for to shoot the match?
Kingsoverqueens 10 Posted November 8, 2012 Power outages by the office, something fell? But in all honesty, besides the gate.... wtf do we need power for to shoot the match? Power was out in my area (River Plaza/Middletown) from 2 until 7:30 today. I agree. I'd even go so far as to call it an unofficial match without scores. Maksim 1,504 Posted November 8, 2012 I neeeeeed to shoooot. Ugh, worst case will go reload.

Thats what i've been thinking for several days now, i'm really itching to go shoot.
Maksim 1,504 Posted November 8, 2012 I picked up a few shoties, so even consider that.
raz-0 1,265 Posted November 8, 2012 Other than the gate we don't need anything. But with all the hubbub about member vs nonmember accounting, the club might make it an issue.
Maksim 1,504 Posted November 8, 2012 tonight was the member meeting no? Did they say anything? I was in BK/JFK and would not of made it in time.
Kingsoverqueens 10 Posted November 8, 2012 Other than the gate we don't need anything. But with all the hubbub about member vs nonmember accounting, the club might make it an issue. just thinking out loud here but there should be enough members to "invite" two non members. We can keep a list, even squad the members and guests together if necessary. I'm thinking this could be a very small, informal shoot. Even 3 or 4 stages. Use ones that have been shot before. Maksim 1,504 Posted November 8, 2012 no way to get in assuming since range is technically closed. =P
Kingsoverqueens 10 Posted November 8, 2012 no way to get in assuming since range is technically closed. =P of course. My thoughts are predicated on the range being "open." As of this morning still no power.
raz-0 1,265 Posted November 9, 2012 The gates should fail open. I may be wrong.
NJDrew1 0 Posted November 9, 2012 I was told that the gates fail closed, and that you have to remove the bolts and arm to get out.
M4BGRINGO 139 Posted November 9, 2012 Maks, if you live in East Windsor why don't you take a shottie or two over to Citizens in West Windsor and do some Trap on Sunday. I plan on going to Mallard in Monroe for some Trap there on Sunday.
Maksim 1,504 Posted November 9, 2012 Is Mallard still open? I may do that worst case. i dislike Citizens... too fuddy.
Ryan626 5 Posted November 9, 2012 Maks if this match is cancelled, anything happening in Old Bridge or someplace else?,How about in PA? Too nice not to be shooting this weekend!
Combat Auto 174 Posted November 9, 2012 Still no power according to thier sight...A string of great weather days comming - starting today...With luck, who knows maybe they can fix it by Saturday....Who here makes the final call on if the match can be held, and what is the latest time we can delay the decision to? -Joe
Vlad G 345 Posted November 9, 2012 Sorry guys, no match. The club told us we have to cancel it. See you in December.
AS350Driver 56 Posted November 10, 2012 Thanks for the update Vlad. See you at Old bridge in a couple of weeks.
Ryan626 5 Posted November 10, 2012 Thanks Vlad. What a shame! Weather is perfect for shooting!
SW9racer 262 Posted November 10, 2012 That is a shame, maybe we will have 60's in December. Either the website isnt working, or the range is now open
NJDrew1 0 Posted November 10, 2012 No--That was a fluke. During some website modifications, the page formatting changed. The good new is the page is fixed. The bad news is there's still no power.
Kingsoverqueens 10 Posted November 10, 2012 Drew, the page shows that the range is open....big green banner. The drop down box shows still closed, but the banner shows open as of Saturday 11/10.
