FINALLY brought home my SR22

After all the hassle of my permits and expirings and extensions and nics and what not, I was finally able to bring my new gun home. I wont get a chance to shoot it for a few days but I'm glad to finally have it.

Congrats. I actually had mine last night range for target games with my buddy. A good cheap gun and ammo to have fun with. Still no problems with it after almost a year.

Only .22's I have at the moment are a bunch of Winchester wildcat and the cci tactical .22's for ar's. I'll probably use aguila, mini mags or remmy bulk as long as they work

 

What has everyone else been using?

Nice pick up. Have you ever shot a S&W MP22? Holding off on any purchases for a bit, but a 22 handgun is next (unless a long range bolt action comes across the sites). On the fence between the two

I think my sr22 was the last from Lou's for now. It's a really popular pistol. Woodbridge auto parts might have them in stock. I think they're a ruger direct dealer

My dilemma is, I JUST got my P2P, and have 90 days (w/o getting an extension), and Ruger isn't currently making the SR22s. One dealer told me he probably wouldn't be getting any more until late spring.

FOUND ONE!!!!!!!!!!!! Only 25min away! Jim Flynn's truck repair. Since NICS is taking so long, they'll do everything over phone, then call me when NICS comes back. I don't even have to go there until I can pick it up.

 

GREAT price too- MUCH better than anyone else had.

Checker. Shoot copper. Not lead. Had MUCH better results with mine after going to federal bulk. The leading gets pretty bad, pretty quick on these. At least on mine it did.
