I have one of these and like it but have decided I want to take the logo off. Don't shoot....ha

 

anyway, I think I want the all black look. What is the best way to take it off without damaging the lower or the finish? any ideas?

I have it put together just right for a varmint build I did. I'll post pics soon. well toying with the idea of taking it off but I guess I'm blashpheming huh....lol

And I was worried if I used harsh cleaning agents on the lower I would take the logo off by accident.. guess I no longer have to worry

The logo is engraved right? Why not just go over the logo it with something like this http://www.brownells...rer_1=BIRCHWOOD to make the logo not stand out as much.

Try using GOOF OFF. I color filled my LMT AR lower, and used this to wipe off the excess.

IF it's laser etched, it's gonna be hard to take off unless you sandblast it with aluminum oxide -- best to have that professionaly done IMHO, and then you can have it cerakoted -- which is way better than Duracoat -- I've had both.

I'll trade you my All black CMMG lower for it. It just has the standard company name and logo etched into it but still all black.
