Bought this a couple of weeks ago I guess. Neat rifle, easy to clean and disassemble, looks well built. Waiting for the weather to get a little nicer before I take it out. Has a nice feel to it. I need to find a decent optics set so I can try out those 200m shots

I put a Leatherwood CMR1-4x on mine. 1x works good for close up 2 eyes open shooting. For me, the 4x does the job at longer ranges.

Actually, it is used to show that the gun is unchambered. Useful at the range.

I am by no means an optics guru.

The glass is very clear with no distortion that I can see.

Do a search on you tube. There are some decent reviews by people that know a lot more about optics than I do.

If you reload, be aware that the 556 throws brass around 20-30 feet to the front right of where you are shooting from. Makes brass collection difficult.

Nice gun. I used to have a 556, and that thing was awesome! I put a lot of rounds through it and NEVER had any malfunctions. I sold it only because I got bored with it and wanted to build an AR.
