Why always more guns in the 4th Quarter?

The following graph shows background checks run by the FBI by month for the last four years. An interesting trend (besides what is going on right now) is that sales always seem to be up in the fourth quarter -- I wonder why?

Although the bulk of sales for most firearms companies is their q4, which is q1 of the year.... that is due to ShotShow.
