Sht 3 Posted May 24, 2013 The only thing I can add is glock model 20 with 800 flawless round.
bravozulu14 0 Posted July 12, 2013 Quick question to all your XD owners... What versions of the XD (in 9mm) are NJ legal? I had noticed that some of them only have 16 round mags or higher. Thanks for the input.
djg0770 481 Posted July 12, 2013 As I recall all versions of the XD and XDS are 15 rounds are less. The XDM line however exceeds 15 rounds in the 9mm size.
bravozulu14 0 Posted July 12, 2013 Ahhh, ok, I was under the impression the XDs line was the only one that was < 15, but I'm not really interested in a sub-compact at the moment. Good to know, thanks for the info!
Babyface Finster 45 Posted July 12, 2013 I love my XD9, but mag capacity is an issue. SA used to offer a 15 round mag, but now it's 10 or 16. 15 rounders can be found on Gunbroker but often sell high. You can get aftermarket 15 rounders but I wasnt impressed with the Promags and they don't lock the slide open after the last round. I was able to get enough 15 round SA mags, but you might have difficulty. SA customer service is fantastic, but I don't like the fact that I can't buy extractors for DIY replacement. One great thing about Glocks is parts availability. I wish I liked the way the Glock feels but I just don't. If I had to start over without mags I would probably go M&P or PX4. blksheep 466 Posted July 13, 2013 I love GLOCK. My wife likes the XD which is what she has. She has the XD9 4" service and it fits her well. I am not a fan of the tang safety.
BlueLineFish 615 Posted July 13, 2013 I have yet to shoot a factory glock so I can't really compare. The only glock I currently use is my duty 19 with a heavy modified trigger. I will be picking up a 20 real soon so maybe my opinion will change. I carry an xd9sc off duty and love it. I just picked up a 5" tactical 40. As of now I prefer a springfield. blksheep 466 Posted July 13, 2013 12lb trigger?
BlueLineFish 615 Posted July 13, 2013 8.5. It's a modified NY trigger. Way too heavy for the small 19 with 147 gr Winchester ranger ammo.
blksheep 466 Posted July 13, 2013 Its really a shame.

Alex1788 0 Posted July 14, 2013 I love my Beretta 92FS . . . I also love my Sig Sauer P226 . . . I am sure I'll love my S&W TRR8 when I get it as well . . . I'm going to need more permits. . .
vabene7 0 Posted July 16, 2013 You will not be disappointed with either gun. I own both, gen4 23 & XD-40, and swear by each. They are the only two handgun companies I buy now. Federal LEO friends loved shooting my Springfield and said it would be an accepted replacement for their duty Glocks...
