Where:
Clinton WMA clay range in Clinton, NJ

Address:
26 New Jersey 173 
Hampton, NJ 08827 

When:
Saturday June 15th

Time:
9am at the Clay range

Please try and bring everything you can in terms of a gun, ammo, and clays.

A rough check list of what to bring:
- Gun(s)
- Ammo (birdshot #7, 7.5, 8)
- Misc gun cleaning/lubing stuff
- Clays
- Thrower if you have one
- Eyes and ears
- Shell pouch
- Beverages/snacks
- Layer up and bring a warm jacket/gloves/hat depending on weather
- Chair

If you can't bring some things, we will have plenty of stuff there. If you've never shot a shotgun before, I and others will try working with you to be able to dust a clay by the end of the day!

Gun rules to remember:

Always treat a gun as if it was loaded
Keep your finger off the trigger until you're ready to shoot
Never point the muzzle at anything you're not willing to destroy
Always be aware of you're target/line of fire
For this range, keep all guns unloaded until you're on the firing line

Be smart, be safe, and we will have a fun-filled day!

Well you don't have a ton of family then. I got stuff both days for both sides of my family and then there's my wife's too... lol.

Wah Wah I've got two kids and a huge Italian family couple hours shooting won't interfere with anyone's schedule!!

 

P.S. the ball breaker is in haha!

I have family, we just don't really make the whole mothers/fathers day into a big deal. I'm surprised you're doing fathers day activities in the morning on the day before, seems odd but hey you have fun with family.

 

Recessed count me in! I found another old goodie so I hope NICS is quick.

 

Awesome bro! Can't wait to see. I've got some things coming in, but they haven't gotten to my FFL yet.

I am pretty new to guns in general and have never broken clays before but I would like to come by and give it a shot (pun intended) if that's ok. I don't own a shotgun, so I am hoping someone can lend me one and show me how to do this. Should I try to bring like a box of ammo and a box of clays?

Mbeattie - feel free to come out! We will get you to break a clay by the time you leave. If you could bring some shells/clays that would be great. We will have plenty of shotguns for you to shoot.

 

Cool then.  I'll come by for an hour or two in the morning.
