peterk2000 0 Posted June 26, 2013 Hey, I bought an Apex Duty/Carry Trigger kit for my M&P9. Anyone know of an S&W Armorer in Monmouth or Middlesex that can install it? As for DIY it looks doable but I don't want to chance it. Thanks
Blake 50 Posted June 27, 2013 was looking at these and wondering if I could do it myself or not also. Interested in someplace that can install it but in the Ocean/Monmouth area.
67gtonut 847 Posted June 27, 2013 It really is an easy install....
lunker 274 Posted June 27, 2013 Ask Andy at Shore Shot.
Nickel1911 0 Posted June 27, 2013 Ask Andy at Shore Shot.+ 1 Andy is an excellent Smith. He'd be able to install that with no problem. It is a fairly easy job to handle yourself though, but if your not comfortable with working on your own gun, Andy is an excellent choice. Good guy too
peterk2000 0 Posted June 27, 2013 Thanks. I am going to give it a try on my own his weekend.
AS350Driver 56 Posted June 28, 2013 Here's one of the videos from Apex, watch this and the others and you shouldn't have any problems. As others have said it's pretty straight forward.
Gunnz 49 Posted June 30, 2013 I had shore shot do my FSS apex kit. Call them and ask for Matt
Vlad G 345 Posted June 30, 2013 It is really quite trivial to do, the M&P is rather easy to work on.
Dave_D 0 Posted June 30, 2013 Seems the consensus is that it's easy enough to do... Anyone know if any LGS has these in stock? Could always order online but have some free time today so this seems like a good project.
NJdiverTony 27 Posted July 4, 2013 It's very easy to do on your own. I installed the entire DCAEK kit on my M&P9 and it was pretty straightforward. Just watch the videos and take your time doing it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Norseman 2 Posted January 5, 2014 Peterk2000, did you ever end up using Andy at SS? I'm getting a new M&P 9c this week (hopefully ...could be a little longer before it gets here). I want to get a set of Trijicon night sights installed on it. Guess I'll make an appointment with Andy, too. I was wondering if you have to drop it off or are you able to wait while the work's done?
