Wastegate 9 Posted September 6, 2013 Anybody have info about this place? It's on Route 45 across from Gina Driving Range & Paintball. There is a sign in the store saying coming soon and a phone number.
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted September 6, 2013 I drove past the other day and didn't notice
Arbelest 29 Posted September 6, 2013 Next time I'm in the area I'll stop by. If its in the same shopping plaza as the rest of Gino's shops I would guess that he is opening a new store.
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted September 6, 2013 He rents to shops out. A buddy of mine owned a business in there
Arbelest 29 Posted September 6, 2013 I know he owns the barbershop and hair salon at least. At least I think he does...
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted September 8, 2013 He owns the building. But rents to businesses in there. My buddy owned the barber shop and salon that was there. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Arbelest 29 Posted September 20, 2013 *Should* be a reasonably priced place, my friend stopped by a few days ago and spoke with the owner and had a good vibe from him.
Nucrunner 75 Posted October 3, 2013 A quick update to a post that appeared earlier to this forum about FREEDOM AMMO the new “Guns, Ammo, and Supply’s” store in Mantua (Gloucester County), NJ. The store opened on September 30, I stopped in on my way home from work today to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised to see the proprietor to be a local area LEO who retired from the job about a year and a half ago. He said it was always his desire to have a gun store so, here it is. Right now he has “no guns” as he is wrapping up federal and state licensing issues, he does have a full case of ammo, some cases, etc. I was able to pick up 2 boxes of American Eagle 357 Magnum 158 gr JSP’s priced at just a dollar more than advertised on the internet (before shipping applied) . He also provided a good half hour of conversation, and he has a coffee pot (Keurig) set up for like minded people interested in passing some time. He said a couple guys were coming down from up north to set him up with 2A literature to spread the word. The store is located in a small strip mall across the street from Gino’s Driving Range, his phone number (posted on a sign in front of his business and painted on his truck) is 856 848 2666. If you get a chance to stop in and talk to Glenn you will see that he is the kind of guy, and this is the kind of business we should all want to succeed. brocglock23 4 Posted October 4, 2013 Did anyone bring up NJGF to see if he was interested in the site to help promote his business and possibly become a forum vendor?
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted October 4, 2013 He's not a computer/ technical person. That's coming from him. I did talk to him about nj2as though
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted October 4, 2013 I think he's gonna do fine. He is known locally from his job. The closest store is hauges. And he's got a good location. I don't see the store closing

Arbelest 29 Posted October 5, 2013 as a side note if anyone has an idea..whats the average time from application to getting an FFL, Currently indefinite from the shutdown I assume... His ammo prices are pretty good to. He is closed this weekend as he will be at a gun show selling ammo.
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted October 5, 2013 Yes the shutdown is screwing this guy now. He has a retail license but not the FFl. And it takes a few months
Murphy4570 15 Posted October 9, 2013 That location is literally 10 minutes down the road for me. Glad to see a shop is opening up close by.
jwb223 0 Posted October 15, 2013 Just wanted to add to this conversation..... I stopped in to Freedom Ammo last weekend and also had a very, very good vibe from the owner Glenn. He seems like a good guy and I hope he will do well at this location. He should be stocking guns very soon. Stop in and see him, as he is a real friendly guy. Support your LGS!! Wastegate 9 Posted October 15, 2013 Stopped in yesterday, told me $30-35 for FFL transfers once he gets his paperwork. Seems like a great guy, glad to have an close replacement now that Paul has moved.
Nucrunner 75 Posted October 27, 2013 Stopped in on Friday, still no guns in the store, expects to get his FFL next week. He did pick up some pretty neat "biometric" gun safes, he has 4 or 5 different sizes/ models.
Arbelest 29 Posted November 9, 2013 Just an update, his FFL is in and will be stocking guns next week. He already has some Remington 870s Police Magnums, and is expecting to get in some sig sauer handguns and 10/22 takedowns next week. If your planning on making a trip I would stop in towards the end of the week just to be sure or give him a call. http://freedomammonj.com/

Arbelest 29 Posted November 9, 2013 Used poly furniture and was asking 275 per unit. They were a bit older and had a nice patina to them. ETA: He had 5 and 3 were left when I walked out of the shop today.

Nucrunner 75 Posted November 9, 2013 Geez. September 30 is more than 11 months away. Newt, that post was written September 19 of this year, he did open up on the 30th. He wasn't full ready when he opened (no guns, no FFL), but he's been growing steadily ever since. The government shutdown slowed up his FFL, but it's hanging on the wall as of yesterday. He has plenty of ammo, and working on his gun inventory - looks like he should have a nice mix of new/used. The owner has some good LEO ties, and he seems to be into Preperations. Learned yesterday that Glen has entered into a business relationship with a non-firearms tactical supplier, he now has tactical gear packs, clothing, chest rigs, and tactical accessories in stock. Also met Arbelist in the shop the other day, he's a member and frequent contributor to this forum - nice guy!

We're still slogging through. I asked the contractor today if he meant October 2013 or 2014.
