It's pretty perfect. Super comfy and stable feeling. I like it a bunch.

No range report yet. Hoping to get out and test fire it this evening but it'll depend on time.

 

@Kimber45, I will definitely keep you apprised on the barrel. You're welcome to shoot it once I get the bugs worked out.

@pbkid, thanks. I'm psyched. Thankfully there wasn't any stress during the build. It was easy but I'm broke which sucks.

you using factory ammo or hand loads?  If its not cycling it could easily be an ammo issue with hand loads

She's not cycling.  No biggie.  I'll tear her down and make sure there's nothing mechanical happening and then work on my loads.

 

It's all handloads for me.  I can't afford to shoot otherwise

Have you tried a few rounds of factory ammo yet? Buy a box of 20 and see if the problem is still there.

I have a box, but it's sub.  I will look around and see if I can find some. 

 

I despise paying for factory, btw.  Just irks me.  I'm apparently getting wicked cheap as I get older!
