DeerSlayer 241 Posted January 30, 2015 All you anti-conspiracy nut nuts had better read this carefully: ROCKAWAY BOROUGH — Police dubbed the operation "extra sugar." They said the 29-year old Dunkin’ Donuts employee was soliciting sex while working the drive-thru during her overnight shift. Rockaway Borough police had been watching since mid-June, according to Detective Sgt. Kyle Schwarzmann, and saw her enter several cars. Today, Melissa Redmond, in her first interview since she was arrested last week, fought back, offering her side of the story. "I am not some whore," she said, choking back tears. The scene of the crime: I used to work with her mom for about 5 years! She was the secretary for the plumbing company I was employed by. Her mother stole 40k over the course of about a year due to a gambling problem. And was obviously let go. My boss tried to get his money back in court but never got paid back. Pretty sure she fled the area from what I've heard. Melissa her daughter (the alleged prostitute) was always cool, I liked her. I had no idea she was prostituting herself out at work though lol. I was really surprised when I saw this story on the news. She has 3 kids and her lazy video game playing husband left her while she was pregnant with their 3rd kid. Guess she was doing what she felt she had to? Funny you posted this here, this was a few years ago I kinda forgot about it.

magnawing 5 Posted January 31, 2015 S#!+...just come to Texas, walk into any gun show on any given weekend (there's one somewhere within an hour every week), pony up the cash, show your TX drivers license, do the Federal paperwork and walk out. Load it, put it in your console and legally drive wherever you want to. Hell, buy two or three if the urge strikes you. Yes...I'm gloating again. Regaining my freedom is fan-freakin-tastic. This signature is AWESOME!!!

JohnnyB 4,326 Posted January 31, 2015 I committed no crime! My IDs were checked by the on duty LEO seller, he showed me his pink copy from when he first purchased, he filled out his portion of my P2P, I signed, he stated his responsibility for each copy, gave me the pink. I drove straight home and all is well. The seller has a great reputation on another NJ forum. This was NOT a Craigslist deal!!! Anyone even a little bit curious why the OP hasn't responded since transfer was supposed to happen? Great timing! I was in the middle of this post when you posted! JohnnyB 4,326 Posted January 31, 2015 I forgot to mention, I watched in my rear view mirror, he never left his car to go for a doughnut!!! Go figure! For Newtonian, my company had a service call 6 miles from the crime scene, so all my gas and tolls were paid as was my salary for the drive up and back. I paid no sales tax, no FFL fee and no NICS fee. I got a MINT pistol in the box with 5 new factory mags and all of the original accessories and paperwork, including the lock and the red zip tie for a great price! JohnnyB 4,326 Posted January 31, 2015 Arrggg! I was going to ask if any donuts were harmed during the transaction. Not a one, I promise you! I did however notice some crumbs on the carpet of the patrol car! Could have been planted there by a rogue LEO looking to set up the really nice and professional Leo that I transacted with. diamondd817 827 Posted January 31, 2015 , he showed me his pink copy from when he first purchased, Really? That's a first. Was he just showing his pink copy to prove how long ago he bought it? Or just wanted to prove it was his pistol?

His pink copy was in the box with the gun. He used it to get the SN# to fill out my P2P and showed me his original purchase was only 3 months ago. Did he handcuff you at any point, you know, like? NO! But he did let me hold his gun for a minute!

Stonecoldchavez 92 Posted January 31, 2015 I agree on the bore snake! I do have a few. I do realize that I could sneak a new gun into the house without my wife noticing. Problem is, I can't lie!!! She gets the mail before I come home and sees my P2Ps! She knows when these hit our mailbox that I have evil intentions!!! I tried to to tell her that if I don't use them and they expire, that I can't ever get another one. She did not fall for that one either! My Brother-in-law, who also has more that two guns, always told me, "buy the guns, bring them in when she is not at home, even if she sees them, so she gets pissed and does no not speak to you for a week or so, she will forget and get over it but in the end you win since you still have your new guns and now she is talking to you! He is right, I need to learn to lie despite my upbringing! He is also right about bringing a few new guns home and after a week of silence, you still have the guns! Life is indeed good!!!! I also come home with a bag from a store in my hands and she will say "what did you buy me??" My answer is most often "more bullets dear". That pisses her of as well. Also when FedEx or UPS leaves a box at our door that she can't pick up she gets pissed since she knows it must be more ammo! If I was smart, which I obviously am not, I would have all this crap delivered to my business then transfer the goods into my stash after she goes to sleep! JohnnyB 4,326 Posted February 1, 2015 Okay, let's attempt to bring this thread back on topic and keep it ouf of 2A. This is what I learned from this thread. 1) It's Okay to use corrosive primer ammo in your Mosin Nagant if you clean it well after shooting said ammo. 2) My town mails my P2Ps to me. The LEO I did the F2F with noticed my P2P was not signed by me. He showed me the P2P requires my signature witnessed at the time of pickup by my P.D. Okay, lesson learned, I will sign my P2Ps that come in the mail since my local PD does not follow the letter of the law in this regard. 3) It seems NJ does not state that F2F transfer must take place in an exempted location. Range, Home etc. However, if the seller is not a LEO, it could be a problem! 4) Some members of this forum are very knowledgeable and helpful, some are paranoid, some are very funny and some are totally perverted! I want to thank you all for your help and levity as I enjoy my new Ruger SR22 pistol! Thanks guys!!!
Princetonian58 53 Posted February 2, 2015 you can only travel with the hg from place of purchase to home. Not place of purchase to work and then home. You will then have deviated 2. Not all towns contact your references every time, if you applied recently from prior issued permits a lot will also waive the $18 mental health check, all depends how long its been since being issued previously You can travel from place of purchase to your place of business under 2C: 39-6e and from place of business to home. That is expressly provided for in the statute. However, place of business must be a fixed location. I would not risk it unless you are an equity owner of the place of business as opposed just working there. Don't think a donut baker at DD, for example, can legally travel to his place of business and carry behind the counter. However, if you own the franchise, I think you can carry there. JohnnyB 4,326 Posted February 2, 2015 Think about what a stupid thread this is. No disrespect to the OP, but c'mon. In Heaven there are no gun laws. Why would you need gun laws where guns do not exist? Regarding "better to be tried by 12 than carried by 6" that's fine but if you get caught, you get to meet Bubba.....Your choice! Newtonian 453 Posted February 5, 2015 Pissing down the barrel, slamming the action shut and keep on shooting is good enough, just as its original owner did in Eastern Europe during the great patriotic war. I now always bring a water bottle with me and pour it down the barrel when I'm done. At home 45 minutes later 2 passes with vodka (no kidding), followed by regular cleaning. I don't slam the action with my wiener anywhere near the breach. Reminds me of a limerick. Is this the 1st Amendment Lounge?
