Scorpio64 5,157 Posted September 4, 2015 Rifle, 5.56 It is also melonited. Guess it wont matter since the threaded portion will be covered with a linear comp
DargZ 5 Posted September 4, 2015 I suggest going to Tier One Defense. They are really nice guys. I went to this shop by accident to meet another member here on a separate transaction. I was impressed with the knowledge while quietly waiting there for the other member to get his barrel shortened. I had them pin and weld one of my barrels and was impressed with the quality. They specialize in precision bolt action rifles but have a collection of their own personal bolts and semis on the wall for people to look at. Prices are online for you to decide if you want to make the trip there. http://www.tieronedefense.com/ar15-semi-auto-services-1.html You can read in the precision rifle section about some of the work they do from other members here that had work done by them. njpilot 671 Posted September 4, 2015 Agreed ^^^^ Mike cut down the barrel on my Rem 700, threaded it and timed it for my brake he installed. Did a nice job and very reasonable.
