Ok guys, I remember seeing something about a gun that shoots 22 short, 22 long and 22 LR.

 

Can anybody direct me - and no, I don't remember whether it was a hg or a rifle.

A revolver might be your best bet, or a bolt action rifle. No semi-auto could reliably cycle all 3.

One of the most popular guns out there, Marlin 39a shoots 22 short, long or long rifle.

In handguns the Ruger single six convertible comes with 2 cylinders 22lr and 22 magnum.

The rules only apply to semi-autos. You can cram as much as you want into a lever or bolt or pump.

a lot of .22 rifles can shoot 22 long, short & LR.....many older ones I see are marked as such.

Local shop up here has several used Remington 552's on the rack. But I rarely see anything other than 22lr on the dealers shelve so it may not be worth the cost. It's a nice looking rifle but not that cheap.

 

Look into the Henry lever. I've seen several on the line and they are nice.

If i remeber right you can use a 22 for trapping and coon hunting.

You can carry a 22 to dispatch trapped animals, but I think you also need a hunting license and rifle permit. It is NJ, you have to pay for something else. Even if I am wrong there has to be something else they charge you for.
